Completing project application tasks
Updated over a week ago

Copywriters, translators and some other content creation specialists need to complete an application task when applying to join a project team. Please note, you will not receive payment for completing a project application task. See How do I apply to work on project with Jellyfish? for more information.

The following FAQ will guide you through the process of completing project applications on J+ Community.

How do I upload my application task?

You can find the page to upload your application task in the 'My tasks' section of J+ Community. If you need to upload multiple documents, you will need to put them into a single zip folder.

All tasks must be uploaded on J+ Community. Any tasks sent to us via email will not be marked. If you experience a technical issue with the platform while trying to upload your application task, please email [email protected] and include a screenshot of the page where you're encountering the problem. This helps us to identify and fix the issue as quickly as possible.

Please note, once you've uploaded your application task it may be flagged that your task contains plagiarism. As we use original source copy in a lot of our application materials this is completely normal and we would only look into cases where this percentage was unusually high.

I uploaded a task but I haven't heard back yet

Due to the large number of project applications we receive, application task marking can take up to 15 working days. If you haven't heard back after this amount of time, please contact [email protected].

Please note: There will always be a set deadline for completing project application tasks. If the project is due to start urgently, you will always be made aware that tasks may be reviewed before the deadline on a first come first served basis.

How do I know if I have been selected for a job?

If you are selected for a project team, we'll email you with the good news! Make sure you have ticked the box beside 'I want to receive important work-related notifications' in the 'Account settings' section of your J+ Community profile.
