We have a zero-tolerance plagiarism policy. Everything you write should be entirely original or quoted from a linked and credited source.

You do not have to include something verbatim for it to be considered plagiarism – it may be very similar in phrasing, syntax or structure to another article. Our plagiarism policy also covers work copied across separate deliverables on a Jellyfish project and content directly lifted from client inputs.

If you suspect plagiarism, please raise it with the Content Manager on the project at your earliest convenience. We will investigate each case and follow up with individuals directly.

You should create all content without the assistance of any form of artificial intelligence or machine translation tools.

At Jellyfish, we're exploring how the latest AI and translation technology can enhance how we produce content. Our team is testing different tools to understand their potential uses and limitations when used to assist human content creation across content types.

We will always communicate whether an allocation is part of an AI or machine translation testing initiative or if we have launched automated production on a project. We expect our J+ Community to create content manually without the support of these tools outside of these specifically approved projects.

Please note that the use of AI or machine translation tools when completing J+ Community screening and project application tasks is also not permitted.

Aside from the quality concerns surrounding AI-generated content, there are serious intellectual property and privacy concerns regarding sharing sensitive client information with AI tools. We therefore cannot use them on a project without explicit client permission.

We will remove anyone found to be using AI tools on projects without permission from the J+ Community. We will also remove anyone who uses AI tools in screening tasks or project applications.

If you suspect AI content generation, please raise it with the Content Manager on the project at your earliest convenience. We will investigate each case and follow up with individuals directly.

We require linguists to manually localise all copy to ensure it meets our quality expectations and the specific requirements outlined in each client brief.

If content is machine translated and fails to meet these quality standards, we will issue a quality warning and may remove creators from the project. This determination is in exercise of our discretion under the Provision of Services clause in Jellyfish's Content Creation Terms.
